PATHFINDER COMPLETES AIRBORNE GEOPHYSICAL
SURVEY AT HERMITAGE URANIUM PROPERTIES, NEWFOUNDLAND
Radiometric and Electromagnetic Anomalies Located

Pathfinder Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: PHR) reports that the airborne geophysical survey has been successfully completed at the Company’s Hermitage uranium properties in southwest, Newfoundland. Aeroquest Ltd flew a 4,000 line kilometre survey which measured radiometric, magnetic and electromagnetic responses as part of the Company’s first phase exploration work in search of uranium deposits. The helicopter-borne survey covered Pathfinder’s entire Hermitage West and Hermitage East properties at a flight line spacing of 100 metres.
A preliminary review of the survey data indicates that a number of priority radiometric anomalies and electromagnetic conductors have been identified. Detailed analysis of data from the geophysical survey is underway. Prospecting, ground geophysical and geological surveys will then be conducted on selected targets.
On June 5, 2006, Commander Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: CMD) announced it had completed a similar 5,000 line kilometre survey on their adjoining Hermitage property which also revealed the existence of numerous radiometric anomalies. The positive survey results demonstrate the Hermitage Uranium Belt’s potential for hosting multiple uranium deposits, as well as base metal and gold resources.
Located 30 kilometres north of the coastal town of Burgeo in southwest Newfoundland, Pathfinder’s 100% owned Hermitage West and Hermitage East properties comprise 92,000 acres and cover approximately half of the Hermitage Uranium Belt, a newly recognized region where several uranium occurrences have been discovered within a 100 km by 10 km area. The belt has potential to host large-scale uranium deposits as uranium occurs primarily as stratiform occurrences within sedimentary and volcanic rocks.
